Our Church Family
Calvary Baptist Church is a conservative, Bible believing, multi-generational, family oriented congregation that has been serving the east side of Huntsville since 1938. We are uniquely aligned with the SBC and the SBTC and accept the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our confession of faith. We are a congregation of likeminded believers who are seeking to serve God and each other for the Glory of God and His Kingdom. If you are looking for a friendly congregation who loves God and His people, we invite you to visit us and experience the difference. We have opportunities for service and ministry for all ages.
Mission
Our mission at Calvary Baptist Church is to reach the lost and bring them to the one who can save them, Jesus Christ. We take the Great Commission in Matthew 28 seriously and seek to make disciples, train and grow them in their faith, and then send them out to go and make more disciples.
Vision
Here at Calvary, we want to reach the community of Huntsville with the Gospel and see lives changed. From children and senior adults from every tribe, tongue, and nation; we want to see the lost come to Jesus and have our church be a small glimpse of heaven.
We strive to be a strong church family who takes care of, sharpens, and encourages one another to meet people where they are in our daily lives and show them who Jesus is.
